The subjects covered in this course are aligned with the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services training syllabus for security guards. The course covers all the areas needed that security guards should be familiar with to ensure they perform their duties in accordance with the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005 (PSISA) and its regulations.
In order to get a Certificate of Completion, a candidate must finish all the lessons and quizzes in this course. Please click green Mark Complete button at the bottom of each page to mark it as completed. A gray Mark Complete button means that you have to wait until the video play or the timer is complete.
First Aid and CPR (in-class training) is a mandatory component of the course. Students are required to complete this training at our office, or they must provide us a copy of valid certificate from a WSIB approved training provider.
