Security Guard Training
It is mandatory in Ontario that a Security Guard training course conforming to the Ministry curriculum, be taken prior to being eligible to write the Ministry Security Guard Licensing Test and apply for a Security Guard License. It is also mandatory that you have valid Security Guard license before you start working in the private security industry in Ontario Canada.

The First Aid & CPR course offers lifesaving first aid skills, and covers Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and rescue breathing techniques for adults, children, and infants. The course meets legislation requirements for security professionals under Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005. The course offers skills for individuals needing training for working as a Security Guard or for those interested in having first aid skills so they can respond to emergencies at home.

The security guard free practice tests/quizzes will help you to prepare for Ontario Security Guard Licence exam. Security Guard Licensing Information
Private Security in Ontario refers to anyone performing work for remuneration consisting of protecting person, public and property. This includes but is not limited to uniformed guards working at construction sites, shopping malls, apartment buildings, etc. It also includes people who may or may not be in uniform, like bodyguards. Bouncers also fall under this category, however, unlike loss prevention officers or bodyguards, bouncers are required by law to wear a uniform.
